At Key West United Methodist Church we strive every day to be “a loving church where all are welcome.” We don’t do that perfectly, of course.
We are human and broken. But, it is the driving force of everything we do. We welcome everyone as part of our church family, encouraging one another as we grow closer to Christ. We also embrace God’s call in Micah 6:8 to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. We do this by both creating a safe space for all role to seek the love of Christ and standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
We offer Sunday morning coffeehouse, traditional services, as well as a Wednesday evening community contemporary worship with a FREE meal for all at 5:30pm.
We are noted for putting love into action. We embrace grace as the love and mercy given freely to people by God.
While the church is governed by a Book of Discipline and guided by Social Principles, many United Methodists do not agree on some of the most pressing social issues of the day. This diversity of thought is often one of the church’s greatest strengths.
Hello friends, I have prayed and considered how to begin a conversation with you…
